Variance issue leads to disagreements among council members

Iberia Parish Planning and Zoning Board Chairman Brock Pellerin said that, after a site visit, he could see granting a 15-foot variance from the required drainage easement if there was a five-foot buffer to prevent any obstructions being placed near the easement. That requirement was stripped from the resolution that passed out of committee.
