The vaccine provider locator tool lists the 26 vaccine providers in Dallas County. None have vaccine appointments available at this time.
Some 4,495 vaccinations have been administered in Dallas County as of noon Jan. 31, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health vaccine dashboard. Dallas County received its first supply of doses Dec. 23.
The county has a population of nearly 100,000 people.
The state’s vaccine dashboard includes a vaccine provider locator tool that lists vaccine providers in Dallas County who have agreed to provide shots. No vaccinations are currently available. The next round begins Friday at noon.
“The vaccine supply in Dallas County remains limited,” the Dallas County Public Health Department said Thursday. The department said a small number of appointments will be available for the week of Feb. 1-5, but the appointments are expected to fill quickly.
