From Monday the mobile immunisation unit will visit locations across the borough where take-up has been low.
It will stop at a variety of venues including mosques, colleges, schools, leisure centres and community hubs to provide a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
As well as making access to jabs easier and convenient, clinicians on board the bus will answer questions people might have. There is no need to book.
The vaccination bus is in addition to the appointment-only sites in Penny Street, Revidge Fold Church, Royal Blackburn Hospital and Everest Pharmacy in Darwen which are also delivering first dose Pfizer vaccines.
