As the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade played on a TV upstairs, a very different kind of parade was forming in the basement of the Vacaville Veterans’ Memorial Building Thursday morning. In a flurry of clamshell boxes, turkey, gravy, stuffing and mashed potatoes, volunteers processed arround serving tables, putting together over 700 meals for delivery and 300 in person meals for veterans and those in need, as they do every year.
