Last month, both the city and Olmsted City of Greater Utica — an organization dedicated to wellbeing and awareness of the city’s parks and neighborhoods — were announced as the recipients of a Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Utica was awarded $2 million, while Olmsted City received $338,195.
