Utica man facing weapons charges following fight near Bleecker Street

A Utica man is facing weapons charges after police were called to break up a fight involving several people Thursday afternoon.

UTICA, N.Y. -- A Utica man is facing weapons charges after police were called to break up a fight involving several people Thursday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area of Bleecker and First streets around 2:20 p.m. after the fight was reported.
Police say a vehicle involved in the incident was stopped by patrol officers nearby. Based on information police received about weapons at the scene, they searched the vehicle and conducted a safety frisk on the occupants.
