Utah's FanX comic convention returning this year after skipping 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic

SALT LAKE CITY — FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention is back this year, and organizers promise it will be bigger and better than ever.
Utah's premier geek and pop culture fandom convention returns to the Salt Palace Convention Center from Sept. 16-18.
Like many events, FanX was forced to take a break in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. But convention organizers said celebrities are eager to get back out and meet the fans once again this year.
FanX founder and producer Dan Farr and other convention organizers celebrated Star Wars Day with a news conference Tuesday where they announced a few new events and happenings for this year's FanX.
