Utah man injured in fatal Idaho crash

SALT LAKE CITY — A 59-year-old man from Utah was injured after a crash in Jerome, Idaho, on Tuesday, according to Idaho State Police.
At about 9:48 a.m., police say a man driving a 2006 Ford Freestyle was traveling southbound on South Lincoln Avenue at a "high rate of speed" and ran a red light at Yakima. The driver of the Ford Freestyle swerved to avoid a car turning left, said police.
The driver crossed the center lane and crashed into Marty Mickelson, 59, of Lewiston. Mickelson was traveling northbound in a 2018 Ram pickup pulling a horse trailer on South Lincoln Avenue at the Yakima intersection, said police.
