Landlords in Northern Utah would like to help remedy the local homelessness issue but arenât aware of local resources â some of which can even guarantee a âriskyâ tenantâs rent is paid, on time â according to a recent report by social work professors and undergrads at USU.
âMany people are on the brink of homelessness in our communities, and the current state of the housing market makes getting back into housing for those who already are homeless even more difficult,â states Jess Lucero, a lead of the study and USU associate professor of social work, in a media release.
