Used bus purchase spiked after cost soars, concerns flagged

Coun. Catherine McKenney had personally pledged to buy 13 used buses at auction from the city of St. Louis, but that was before the cost soared to more than $30,000 and the city raised concerns about the 17-year-old vehicles.
