US Weather Agency Says Rise in Methane Gas 'Alarming'

NOAA, the national weather agency, said, in 2022, methane in the atmosphere had its fourth-highest yearly increase. Scientists are concerned because methane traps more heat than carbon dioxide measured over 20 years.
