US to press India on countering China more in Asian waterways

2+2 Meeting: The US may push India during their 2+2 dialogue this week to be more active in deterring China in the region and share some of its burden in the Indo-Pacific. This comes at a time when the world's largest economy is looking to grow stronger ties across Asia to deter what it sees as an increasingly assertive China.
