Uptown Jackson will be the place to celebrate Autumn and the harvest season at the ninth annual <b>Oktoberfest</b>.<br/><br/>Enjoy live music throughout the event along with food, vendors and seasonal craft beers. Friday night kickoff will feature <b><i>The Fault Line Band</i></b>, a crowd favorite. Saturday, you can check out the authentic German Band <b><i>Die Fluss Katzen</i></b>, followed by Jackson's own <b><i>Doug Rees</i></b>, and Saturday's headliner, <b><i>Old Cape Road</i></b>.<br/><br/>In addition, there will be a costumed pet parade on Saturday to be followed by a cornhole tournament, pumpkin painting, German Cuisine competition and more.<br/><br/>Oktoberfest will take place in Uptown Jackson from<b> 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, October 7 and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 8.</b><br/><br/>
