Uptick in COVID-19 cases likely linked to long weekend: Dr. Hsiu-Li Wang
Waterloo region saw 57 new COVID-19 cases reported Friday. That uptick in cases compared to lower case rates earlier this week is likely due to people getting together over the long weekend, the region's medical officer of health says.
