WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- Progress continues along a non-motorized public pathway expected to total 70 miles.
The latest segment of the Border-to-Border trail to open was in November 2020 at the Huron River in Delhi Metropark. Another stretch of the trail segment, from Zeeb to East Delhi roads, will begin in the winter, with a planned opening in summer 2021. The project also involves moving Skip’s Huron River Canoe Livery to a new spot within the park to make room for the trail’s extension.
Project partners have recently added to the Zeeb Road to Dexter trail segment, including pedestrian signals at the red iron bridge in the Delhi Metropark, according to a news release. Signals are intended to allow for safer pedestrian crossing at East Delhi Road in Ann Arbor.
