UP Univs: UP Universities Receive Highest Grant of Rs 740 Crore under PM-USHA Scheme | Lucknow News

UP has received the highest grant of Rs 740 crore of all states under the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA), a flagship scheme of Centre to enhance quality of research and encourage innovation in universities and higher education institutions (HEIs). The grant amount will be used to enhance academic infrastructure, research capabilities, and overall educational ecosystem in UP’s universities, in addition to promoting innovation and renovating dilapidated buildings.
