INGLESIDE — Some residents say that a diesel scent is pretty much a daily occurrence, but now they say there’s a more pungent smell and they fear it could be coming from local oil facilities.
Residents first started to notice the smell around four in the afternoon on Monday. Some are worried that the Moda Ingleside Energy Center may be to blame for gas emissions.
However, in a statement the company provided to us, they say they work closely with leadership in communities in their area to ensure open communication.
