UNRWA school teacher wins Earth Prize Educator of the Year

AMMAN — The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) on Wednesday announced that Safa’ Obeid, a teacher at the UNRWA Sweileh Preparatory Girls’ School in Jordan, has been selected as the Earth Prize Educator of the Year.Awarded a prize of $12,500, Obeid was selected by Professor Mario Salomone from the World Environmental Education
