The University of Sudbury has announced that Abbegayle Thompson is the recipient of the $3,000 Bursary for Postsecondary Studies in French as a Second Language.
This academic year, the University of Sudbury participated in this new Bursaries for Postsecondary Studies in French as a Second Language (FSL) Program.

Administered by the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne (ACUFC), and funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage, the program aims to encourage more young English-speaking Canadians to become bilingual while studying in their field of interest en français.
