A FORMER allotment site in Keighley is set to be transformed into an industrial development.
Outline plans have been approved for four light industrial units on the land, at the junction of Kensington Street and Goulbourne Street – near Holycroft Primary School.
An application for the 1,970-square-metre site was submitted to Bradford Council late last year by Parkside Properties.
Planning officers said the scheme would create “welcome” employment.
They added that it was unclear when the overgrown site was last used, but a similar planning application received 18 years ago described the land as “abandoned”.
