Esnaen Catong, Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) regional president, said Monday the grand rally will be preceded by a caravan of the UniTeam supporters from the Zamboanga International Airport (ZIA) to the rally venue, the Summit Center of the Universidad de Zamboanga (UZ) in Barangay Tetuan. "We arranged everything, including traffic management as well as route and venue security and it's a go," Catong said. Col. Alexander Lorenzo, city police director, also said Monday that they already met with the coordinator of the UniTeam concerning security measures. Local candidates affiliated with the UniTeam are also expected to join Tuesday's caravan and grand rally of the BBM-Sara tandem. Two local political parties, those led by mayoralty aspirants former Mayor Celso Lobregat and Councilor John Dalipe, are backing the candidacies of Marcos Jr. and Duterte. Catong, however, clarified that Tuesday's activity will focus on UniTeam's national candidates. He said the activity will be also participated by the UniTeam allies from the nearby provinces in the region and the Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi (BaSulTa) area under the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Catong said the twin UniTeam activities here were originally scheduled in April, but it was rescheduled to an earlier date due to the forthcoming month-long observance of Ramadan. The UniTeam tandem's arrival here forms part of the UniTeam's four-day tour in Mindanao that started Sunday. (PNA) }
