The agent sold a one-bedroom unit at Mooloolaba for $180,000 in May, but he said it would likely sell for more than $200,000 if it was listed now.
"Our market has turned and we've seen lots of interest post COVID, even with a lot of interstate, Brisbane and other Queensland buyers," he said.
"That has pushed our prices up, but we're still an attractive place to invest.
"I would call it the affordable end of the market … anything under $500,000 within walking distance to the beach is a steal."
