UND, NDSU presidents go for another (smaller) research proposal

Under the current bill, 4%, or about $19.96 million, of Legacy Fund earnings would be available to the state’s universities and colleges for research purposes. Of those dollars, 90% would be evenly split between UND and NDSU, with the remaining 10% being available to the other nine schools in the North Dakota University System.
