UN to construct 1000 earthquake-resilient houses in Afghanistan's Paktika province

As earthquakes are persistent in Afghanistan, the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) has decided to construct 1,000 earthquake-resilient houses for over 8,000 earthquake-stricken people of the Barmal district of Paktika province in southeastern Afghanistan.
