Ukraine and US progress in matching Soviet launchers with Western AA missiles

Informally dubbed FrankenSAM, the U.S.-Ukrainian joint project of integrating Soviet-era SAM launchers with Western-made anti-air missiles has achieved considerable success, Mykola Sunhurovskyi, head of military research programs at Razumkov Center, told NV earlier in November.
