Uganda's FUFA Women Super League kicks off

AFC: (April 20, 2021) The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) Women Super League season returned to action on Monday April 19th, 2021 after a year of inactivity because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s edition of the women league comprises ten teams divided into two groups in the normal season. The league is taking place at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru in Buikwe district.
In the opening fixture, Makerere University suffered their first loss to Uganda Martyrs’ Ladies 1-0 through Kevin Nakacwa 70th minute penalty. While Kawempe Muslim thrashed Kampala Queens 4-0 after a brilliant performance. Kawempe goals came through Margaret Kunihira, Rhoda Nanziri, and Hadijja Nandago brace.
