UConn names Maric permanent president

The UConn Board of Trustees voted unanimously Wednesday morning to appoint interim president Radenka Maric as its 17th president.

Maric takes over following a year of leadership instability at UConn, which has seen several president changes since Thomas Katsouleas suddenly resigned from the post last summer, after less than three years on the job.
