UCC student recognized for work with kids and church

An Ursuline College Chatham student is being recognized for helping children with learning disabilities and her volunteer work with the church.
Victoria Frias has been awarded the Catholic Principals’ Council of Ontario Student Scholarship, which is presented annually to a graduating student who best exemplifies strength and passion in the areas of service, advocacy and leadership.

“Victoria is an amazing young woman and worthy recipient for this honour,” said college principal Ray Power in a media release. “It is fitting that her work in the church and with the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario has been recognized in this way,” he added.
