UBTech, maker of Stormtrooper robots, gains in Hong Kong trading debut after pricing final IPO of 2023 at lower end of range

Shenzhen-based robot maker UBTech raised HK$1 billion (US$130 million) from the final stock offering of the year in Hong Kong. Its founder and CEO Zhou Jian will become a billionaire based on its market valuation.
