The UAE's non-oil foreign trade has reached a record high of 1.239 trillion dirhams in the first half of 2023, according to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Non-oil exports have also seen significant growth, with a 22% increase in trade with the top 10 global partners and an 87% increase in trade with Turkey. The UAE aims to increase its non-oil foreign trade to 2.5 trillion dirhams this year and has set a target of 4 trillion dirhams by 2031. The country is also targeting a doubling of its GDP to over $800 billion by the end of the decade, with a focus on 7% growth.
