UAB, sued for allegedly stealing Alabama inmates' organs, ends contract to conduct state prison autopsies

"The termination of the UAB/ADOC contract does not change anything concerning the lawsuits that have been filed. The damage to those families has already been done," said an attorney representing several of the dead inmates' families.
