The UAB basketball team has been throwing out the quick punches during their six-game conference winning streak but took one on the chin early and often to open the second conference road series of the season.
The Blazers (16-3, 9-2 C-USA) were outmanned in a 70-58 loss to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, Friday, Feb. 12, at Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston, Louisiana.
“Our defense was certainly not up to par tonight but offensively our decision making, we have so much to clean up,” UAB head coach Andy Kennedy said. “We had that thing at five, got a chance to creep back. Kenny Lofton Jr. was the difference in the game for them.”
