A woman known as one of Black America’s most influential politicians at the national level is proposing a comprehensive new reparations plan.
Punitive obligations, which legally sanction financial payout from the federal government are well past due for today’s descendants of Black Africans who were enslaved in the U.S. during the era of early America’s so-called “Peculiar Institution.”
It is a well-documented fact that the white male-dominated U.S. power structure never would have obtained the wealth and power it has been known to have for centuries without the forced free labor, which was performed by Black Africans who entered the U.S. via the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
