A brush fire burning near Highway 197 prompted level 3 evacuation notices for an area near Dufur in central Oregon.
Two wildfires ignited Tuesday in central Oregon, prompting level 3, Go now, evacuation notices for nearby residents.
A brush fire was reported around 2 p.m. near the Redmond Air Center and grew to 200 acres, according to the Central Oregon Interagency Fire Dispatch Center. 
The fire, named Incident 422, prompted Deschutes County officials to issue evacuation notices to an area east of Highway 97 in Redmond. An evacuation shelter was established at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center.
