Two of four people charged in connection with a violent incident on the Cote First Nation over the weekend were back in court yesterday.
Kamsack RCMP say shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday, they were called to a home on the reserve, to a report of a violent break, enter and assault, and upon arrival, they found a man who was taken to hospital, with serious injuries.
18-year-old Sidney Rogers was denied bail yesterday, with his matters adjourned to this Tuesday, while Jamie Quewezance remains in custody, also to appear on Tuesday.
19-year-old Phoenix Shingoose is also in custody, to appear Tuesday, while a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named, due to his age, will return to court on May 18th.
