(ABC 6 News) - Finding affordable housing continues to be a challenge throughout Minnesota. So an area family and local business leaders are digging in to help make the family's dream a reality.
Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity is set to put up its newest home in Owatonna.
A ground-breaking celebration this afternoon featured local business leaders lending their support and standing alongside the family.
Each applicant is required to put in 200 hours of sweat equity, complete financial planning and education to prepare for homeownership.
Daikin Applied and Climate by Design partnered to donate $100,000 for this building project, so a single father and his three children will soon have a stable and happy home.
