Two men have been sentenced to prison in separate criminal cases.
Jeremy Rashon Tarrand and Charles Murillo both pleaded no contest and were adjudicated guilty at their respective hearings in Circuit Judge Gary Sanders' courtroom, according to court records.
Tarrand, 39, of Mascotte, was sentenced to a 70-month term on Friday for three counts of leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, drug and sale possession, and driving while license is revoked habitual.
The state dropped charges of carjacking, assault and burglary of a conveyance. He will be credited for 368 days of time already served.
Tarrand's arrest
A Lake County Sheriff's Office deputy captured Tarrand a little more than a year ago in the 10800 block of Southeast 176th Street following a foot chase.
