California State Park officials say that two Petaluma children who were swept off the Sonoma Coast on Sunday remain missing. State Parks Officer Sgt. Tim Murphy said huge surfs of 20-feet yesterday prevented search teams from going onto the beach. Search parties did look on the shoreline from the bluffs and around Salmon Creek beach. According to the Press Democrat, the two children are named Anna and John Wyman. The father, named Michael Wayman, was pronounced dead after his wife and bystanders brought him back to shore.
