According to CBS 13, police responded to the Rockland ferry terminal on April 27th to find the 3-year-old unsupervised in the parking lot. The child was given medical care and was found to have ingested illicit drugs.
Police investigated and found more illicit drugs in a hotel room, leading to the arrest of 43-year-old Paul Mahonen Jr. and 32-year-old Nicole Caven-Gardner, both of Knox.
The pair face child endangerment and drug charges, with more charges expected as the investigation continues.
