Two Oxnard men arrested for breaking into vehicle, stealing property
OXNARD, Calif. - Two Oxnard men were arrested by Ventura police Thursday morning after allegedly breaking into a resident's vehicle and stealing his property.
On April 5, officers responded to a call of a vehicle broken into on the 100 block of North Olive Street in the City of Ventura. The victim told police his car had been ransacked and his belongings stolen.
Using investigative tools at the scene, detectives said they were able to identify one potential person of interest.
On Thursday, May 6, Ventura Police detectives served a search warrant at a residence associated with the person of interest, located on the 1600 block of W. 5th Street in Oxnard. During the search, they reported finding stolen items from the vehicle theft.
