A driver was killed when his car hit a tree in Adelaide's north this morning, with police also kept busy overnight by two stabbings and an armed hold-up.
The man was the only person in the Holden sedan when it hit a tree on Main North Road at Salisbury Heights just before 8:30am.
"The driver and sole occupant, a 52-year-old from Kilburn, sadly died at the scene," police said.
