Two men, one from Mashpee, charged in Superior Court for New Bedford man's murder

BARNSTABLE — Two men have been charged in Barnstable Superior Court for the murder of Damian Anderson. 
Norman Dias, 33, of Mashpee, was arraigned in the higher court on Monday on charges of murder, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a building, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, accessory after the fact and conspiracy to commit murder with the shooting death of Anderson. 
In July, Mashpee police found Anderson, 45, of New Bedford, lying in a dead-end street with multiple gunshot wounds after a report of shots fired. He was treated at the scene but later pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital.
