FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – There is positive news coming from the Fort St. John Huskies this week, including a 50/50 sellout and a pair of players headed to Marian University in the fall.
Huskies general manager Jeremy Clothier says defenceman Aiden Tegart and centre Dean Whitcomb have committed to Marian University, making them the third and fourth Huskies players to move on to Marian.
Aiden Tegart has been with the Huskies for six seasons. Playing in 117 games, he tallied 11 goals, 32 assists, and 302 penalty minutes.
Clothier says Tegart’s size and passion meant he needed to be reeled in from time to time as a youngster, but as the years went on, the imposing defender learned to pick his spots.
