Two Fortis deals involving Malvinder and Shivinder Singh under SFIO scanner

The agency under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has sought details of the two transactions from Fortis Healthcare. The deals also reflect in an FIR registered earlier this month by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police against the Singh brothers.
The acquisition of a real estate company and non-recovery of Rs 47 crore from another firm, which have allegedly caused a loss to Fortis Healthcare when Malvinder and Shivinder Singh were controlling it, have come under the scanner of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office, people with direct knowledge of the matter said.
