Two men have been charged with murder in connection with a 2017 fatal shooting in Clarksville.
According to a news release from the Clarksville Police Department, indictments for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary and attempted robbery were served against Timothy Labrone Williams II and Matthew Kenneth Bryan.
Bryan was served the indictment while currently incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail on unrelated charges. Timothy Williams was arrested on April 22 in Spring, Texas by the US Marshals and extradited back to Clarksville Tuesday.
As previously reported, On November 7th, 2017 around 10:04 pm officers with the Clarksville Police Department responded to a 312 Hundred Oaks Drive residence for a shooting in progress. When they arrived, they found Christopher Allen Lane who had sustained a gunshot wound to the torso area. He was taken to a local area hospital by ambulance where he later died as a result of his injuries.
