Two charged with killing 75-year-old in Rocky Hill

ROCKY HILL — State and local police have arrested two New Britain residents charged with killing a 75-year-old local man found dead in his home Monday evening.
Robert Iacobucci was found deceased in his Pondside Lane home, “the victim of an apparent homicide,” state police said in a brief statement Tuesday.
The New Britain State’s Attorney’s Office requested the state police Central District Major Crime Squad to investigate the homicide with Rocky Hill police around 8:45 p.m. Monday, the agency said.
Law enforcement found Iacabucci’s vehicle was missing from the home. It was later recovered in New Britain, and two people were “detained ... in connection with the stolen vehicle,” state police said.
