Two people were arrested after a man was seen pointing a handgun at passing vehicles Tuesday in the parking lot of Yahweh Mart in Yona, according to Guam Police Department acting spokesman Sgt. Michael A. Aguon.
At 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, police learned that a vehicle was parked at the store and someone was pointing a gun at cars, Aguon said. When officers arrived, the vehicle was gone, but the description and license plate number had been recorded and broadcast to other officers.
The vehicle was later found on Route 4 and Dero Road in Chalan Pago.
Police arrested 28-year-old Jovan Marquette Aguero in connection with reckless conduct, purchase or possession of a firearm without a valid firearms ID, a firearm with altered identifying marks and an unregistered firearm.
