Partridge and Blackbird’s attendances were waived in North Battleford Provincial Court July 6.
An agent for Partridge’s lawyer asked the court for an adjournment to go over new disclosure defence received. The court heard that more disclosure is expected. Disclosure consists of the Crown’s case against the accused and usually includes search warrants, the charging document, details of the offence, audio/video and transcribed witness statements, statements from the accused, expert reports, exhibits, private communication intercept authorizations, evidence, and criminal records of witnesses and the accused.
Stormy Wapass-Semaganis, 23, from Edmonton, Denver Roy, 36, from Sweetgrass First Nation, Melissa Semaganis, 41, from Poundmaker First Nation, and a young offender who can’t be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act were also charged in connection to Moosomin's murder.
