Twitter Blue, the company's first subscription offering, is rolling out now in Australia and Canada, where paying customers can finally undo tweets. Yes, that's right, the microblogging platform is making it easier to revise or remove a message before it goes live.
Made a typo? Forgot to tag someone? Decide a total rewrite is in order? With Undo Tweet, you have up to 30 seconds to cancel a post before it hits your timeline. As an alternative, aubscribers can save time and energy by simply previewing what the tweet will look like before sending it.
"We've heard from the people that use Twitter a lot … that we don't always build power features that meet their needs," product managers Sara Beykpour and Smita Mittal Gupta wrote in a blog announcement. "We took this feedback to heart, and are developing and iterating upon a solution that will give the people who use Twitter the most what they are looking for: access to exclusive features and perks that will take their experience on Twitter to the next level."
