Another ’ageing disgracefully’ comedy starring Freeman. Here he plays Duke, a former Mob lawyer now managing a retirement resort in Palm Springs. A former FBI agent moves in, beats him at all the resort’s games, and is more popular with the ladies. But when the Mob learns of Duke’s new life, they set out to get him. Sadly, Just Getting Started never gets going. ★
